Waymo is starting its slow autonomous drive into existing ride-hailing services, with a partnership with Lyftlaunched in the Phoenix,Usa area on Thursday. When using the Lyft app, users now have the option to select a self-driving Waymo vehicle for rides in the service area in Chandler, Mesa, Tempe and Gilbert. LYFT users are now able to take an autonomous ride, powered by Waymo.
